  • Phoenix

    Part 6: Desires of Love

Location: Istanbul, the company headquarters, end of the day

The day slowly descended over the city, the modern glass walls reflecting the golden light. Phoenix was working in the cosmetician’s room, checking the makeup while the crew prepared for the photo shoot.

    Phoenix (inner thought):
Everything has to be perfect. Focus… every movement matters.

Albatross watched the girl from the background, his gaze never wavering.

    Albatross (inner thought):
She… every movement of hers is special. My breath stops at every small gesture… I can’t escape this attraction.

Throughout the day, Albatross discreetly followed Phoenix’s movements several times, stronger and stronger emotions stirring in his heart.

    Announcement of the Project

    Sanem (smiling):
“We have a very important project starting in two days. The photo series will be shot by the seaside, the entire crew will be there. Phoenix, you’ll be joining us as well.”

    Phoenix (surprised):
“The seaside… that will be exciting!”

    Albatross (inner thought):
Now we’ll have more time together… I’ll watch every movement she makes.

As the crew packed up at the end of the day, one of Albatross’s friends, Can, approached Phoenix, trying to get closer.

    Can:
“Hi, Phoenix… would you like to go somewhere together tonight?”

    Phoenix (firmly):
“Thank you, but no… I’m very tired right now. Tomorrow, however, if you’d like, we could go to the opera, because I really love it.”

    Can (happily):
“That’s a great idea! Alright, then tomorrow we’ll go to the opera.”

Albatross watched the scene from a distance, jealousy and restrained anger swirling in his heart.

    Albatross (inner thought):
I don’t understand how someone can get close to someone else when she is here… but I won’t allow anyone to hurt her.

Phoenix turned away, trying to process the events of the day, then headed home.

Phoenix arrived home and took out the small notebook her grandmother had given her. She opened it, and on the first pages she read this:

    “My dear granddaughter!
Write all your feelings here, tell your emotional burdens, and be happy.
Find true love, just as your grandfather and I did.
    With love, Grandma.”

    Phoenix (inner thought):
Now all my feelings will go here… happiness, excitement, confusion… everything connected to Albatross.

Phoenix picked up a pen and slowly, thoughtfully began writing the events of the day and her feelings into the notebook.

    Phoenix (inner thought, written):
Albatross… there is something mysterious and attractive about him… I can’t ignore anything I saw today… but I know men like this, who would only cause pain to my heart, tear me apart, and I wouldn’t be able to stand up again, so I try to stay as far away from him as possible.

    Albatross’s Thoughts

While Phoenix was writing, Albatross watched her from afar, in secret.

    Albatross (inner thought):
This girl… she captivates me with every single movement. I don’t know how long I can keep this a secret, but something tells me that our fate is far from over.

Part 5: The Coincidence That Maybe Wasn’t a Coincidence

“The First Day at the Company”

    Location: Istanbul

The first rays of the day filtered through the modern glass walls. Phoenix stood in front of the mirror, makeup brushes and palettes in her hands, feeling a mix of small excitement and tension.

    Phoenix (inner thought):
This is the first day… everything is new, everything is different… but I’m ready.

Sanem arrived with a smile on her face.

    Sanem:
“Phoenix, shall we go? I’ll show you the office, the colleagues, everything.”

    Phoenix:
    “Yes, thank you, Sanem.”

As they walked down the corridor, Sanem introduced Phoenix to the different departments and colleagues.

    Sanem:
“And here is the marketing team… and the photo studio.”

Phoenix headed toward the cosmetician’s room while Sanem spoke to the marketing team, so Phoenix was left alone. She was just choosing among the palettes when Albatross suddenly appeared in the doorway.

    Phoenix (angrily, stepping back):
“What are you doing here? Please don’t follow me, leave me alone!”

Albatross (calmly, in a soft voice):
“I was just checking to see if everything was alright…”

    Phoenix (inner thought):
Why is he here? Why does he always have to disturb me?

    Sanem entered the room.

    Sanem:
“Phoenix, let me introduce you. This is our photographer, Albatross.”

Phoenix (embarrassed, in a soft voice):
    “I’m sorry…”

    Albatross (smiling):
“No problem. I’m glad we finally get to meet in person.”

    Sanem:
    “Phoenix is our new cosmetician.”

Phoenix’s gaze lingered on Albatross, confusion mixing with excitement.

    Phoenix (inner thought):
    I can’t believe it… he’s really here now…

    Sanem Continues the Tour

Sanem took on the leading role again and continued the introduction with a smile.

    Sanem:
“And now I’ll show you the makeup room, the supplies, everything you’ll need for your work.”

Albatross quietly watched Phoenix from the background, his gaze never wavering.

    Albatross (inner thought):
She… really is different. Every movement, every look is special. I don’t want anything to influence her, but… I can’t escape this attraction.

Phoenix continued following Sanem, trying to ignore Albatross, while excitement and confusion mixed in her heart.

Part 4: The Silence That Said More Than Any Words

Location: Istanbul, phone call from Sanem

    Phoenix (answers the phone, excitedly):
    “Hello?”

    Sanem:
“Hi, Phoenix! I’m calling with great news… you’ve been hired! You can start at the company tomorrow.”

    Phoenix (happily):
    “Really? That’s amazing! Thank you!”

    Sanem:
“Congratulations! It’s worth celebrating a little tonight, don’t you think?”

    Phoenix (inner thought):
This… has come true. Tomorrow a new chapter begins.

    Phoenix:
“You’re right, we’ll celebrate! Thank you again.”

Phoenix and Emma arrived at the nightclub, where the lights danced across the walls and every movement came alive to the rhythm of the music.

    Emma:
“Are you ready? Tonight is yours!”

    Phoenix:
    “Yes… but I’m a little nervous. I don’t know what to expect.”

    Emma:
“Just let go, dance, enjoy the moment.”

Phoenix nodded and followed Emma toward the dance floor, lost in the moment beneath the lights and music.

    Albatross at the Club

Albatross stood near the bar, dressed in simple elegance, invisible to the crowd. He didn’t know that Phoenix was there too.

As Phoenix moved across the dance floor, she accidentally bumped into Albatross and almost fell, but he caught her quickly.

    Phoenix (embarrassed):
    “Oh…!”

    Albatross (inner thought):
    That scent… that look… special.

Because of their closeness, they could almost feel each other’s breath, their lips nearly touching.

    Phoenix (embarrassed):
    “I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to.”

    Albatross (softly, gently):
“Maybe fate wanted it this way… this week I’ve already saved your life twice.”

    Phoenix (firmly, blushing):
“Thank you, but I can save myself… I don’t need help. Have a nice evening, Albatross.”

Albatross slowly let Phoenix go, but his gaze lingered on her for a moment longer.

    Albatross (inner thought):
Still distant… and that’s exactly why she’s so special. There is something about this girl that is completely different from anyone else.

During the dancing, Emma joined other friends, while Phoenix stopped by the bar for a moment. Albatross watched her from a distance.

    Emma (smiling):
“See? Everyone is enjoying the evening!”

    Phoenix:
“Yes… the atmosphere really is good.”

Albatross noticed Phoenix’s glance but didn’t approach her; he only watched as he slowly stepped back behind the bar.

    Albatross (inner thought):
I see every movement she makes… and I don’t know why, but she draws me in like nothing else in the world.

Part 3: The Secret Moment at the Window
Location: Istanbul, the company headquarters, morning
The light of the sun softly filtered through the modern glass walls, filling the corridors with quiet footsteps. Phoenix stood in front of the company’s door, excitement and tension mixed in her heart. She had arrived for her first interview; having recently moved from London, everything around her was unfamiliar.
    Phoenix (inner thought):
Just focus… everything is new, but maybe this is where the next chapter begins.
Phoenix entered the modern, sunlit meeting room. The glass walls reflected the light, making every movement stand out. The secretary, Sanem, waved at her kindly.
    Sanem:
“Welcome! Are you ready for the interview?”
    Phoenix:
    “Yes… but I’m a little nervous. I don’t know what to expect.”
    Sanem:
“No problem. Just pay attention, be yourself. And try to enjoy it.”
Phoenix nodded and sat down at the table. Her heart was pounding; the excitement was almost tangible.
Albatross stood in the corridor, dressed simply, invisible to everyone else. When he saw Phoenix enter the meeting room, he stopped for a moment, his face serious and observant.
    Albatross (inner thought):
Why is this girl here? No one said anything… she can’t know that I’m watching.
He walked over to Sanem, speaking in a soft, calm voice.
    Albatross:
“Sanem… tell me, what is this girl doing here?”
    Sanem:
“She’s Phoenix, the famous cosmetician from London. She moved here recently and wants to work with us. The best professional… truly an outstanding talent.”
Albatross nodded with a slight smile, then turned back toward Phoenix.
    Albatross (inner thought):
Interesting… so that’s why she’s here. And she suspects nothing about me. Exactly how I want it.
Albatross turned to Sanem in a low voice, his gaze serious and determined.
    Albatross:
“We’re hiring her. She starts tomorrow. But she mustn’t know… that the company is mine.”
    Sanem (curiously, slightly angrily):
“Why not? What are you hiding again, Albatross?”
    Albatross (thoughtfully, quietly):
“Two days ago I almost ran her over in the street… and I don’t know why, but there’s something about this girl. Something that attracts me deeply, something mysterious… so different from other women. I don’t want her to be with me because of my money, like everyone else.”
    Sanem (worried):
“Albatross… you know, but this could lead to serious trouble if it comes out.”
    Albatross (calmly but firmly):
“I’ll tell her myself. Don’t be afraid. Until then, I’m just the photographer, alright?”
    Sanem (nodding):
    “Alright.”
Albatross watched Phoenix as she walked away down the corridor, her movements confident, yet something mysterious radiated from her.
    Albatross (inner thought):
Still distant… and that’s exactly why she’s so special. I don’t know what will come of this, but I don’t want anything else to influence whatever might exist between us.

  • Phoenix

    Part 2: Meeting Albatross

    Location: Istanbul, Phoenix’s apartment, Karaköy

The morning light filtered through the small kitchen window. After the events of the previous day, Phoenix felt that it was time to try new habits.

    Phoenix (inner thought):
Today I will do something different. Something I have never tried before.

Phoenix stood next to Emma, arranging things at the kitchen counter.

    Phoenix:
“Emma, I was thinking… we could prepare something together. Tantra and Turkish telekinesis dishes.”

    Emma (smiling):
“I’d love to. It will be good for you to experience how they prepare them.”

    Phoenix:
“Yes… somehow I’m drawn to your culture. Everything here is so calm, that’s why I’d like to get to know it better.”

They prepared food together, laughing, the scent of spices mixing with that of fresh bread, while the noise of the city drifted in from afar.

    Ringing at the Door

Just as Phoenix was fiddling with the spices, the doorbell rang.

    Phoenix (inner thought):
Who could it be? We’re not expecting anyone today…

Phoenix opened the door, and her eyes met the familiar, deep gaze.

    Albatross:
“Good morning. I just came to check… if everything is alright with you.”

Phoenix remained distant, her voice calm but firm.

    Phoenix:
“Thank you very much, I’m fine. Don’t worry… thank you for coming, please forgive me, but I have to go now. I wish you a very nice day.”

For a moment, Albatross only looked at her, and in his gaze something new, unfamiliar flashed.

    Albatross (inner thought):
This distance… it’s something I’ve never experienced with a woman before. Something entirely different.

Phoenix closed the door. Albatross slowly walked down the street, and his thoughts lingered for minutes on the girl standing by the kitchen window.

Phoenix and Emma stepped out of the apartment. Today Phoenix was starting her first day, but she was only going to an interview, at the company that Albatross would later be connected to.

    Phoenix (inner thought):
Everything is new. Today it’s just the interview… nothing else.

    Emma:
“Don’t be nervous, everything will be fine.”

    Phoenix:
“Thank you, Emma. It’s just the question… do I really belong here?”

The noise of the street, the breeze of the Bosphorus, and the morning light all danced around Phoenix as she headed toward the company, without anyone suspecting that fate would later draw Albatross directly into her close proximity.

  • Phoenix

Part 1: Albatross and New Hope

    Location: Istanbul, Karaköy

The wind blowing in from the Bosphorus impatiently tugged at Phoenix’s hair as she stepped into the bustling crowd flowing through the streets of Karaköy.
New life, new chapter… and yet uncertainty still lingered quietly in her heart.

    Phoenix (inner thought):
London is the past now… a new life begins here.
But what if my past wants to follow me?

Emma was standing at the airport exit, holding two coffees that were far too large.

    Emma:
“Finally! I knew you wouldn’t last long in London’s grey gloom.”

    Phoenix:
    “It wasn’t the city…”

    Emma (with a gentle smile):
“It was your fiancé. But we’ll talk about that later.”

Emma hugged her, and Phoenix felt the old pain slowly melt away in the warmth of her friend’s arms.

    Phoenix (inner thought):
I don’t want to think about the past.
Here, in Istanbul, I’m starting over. I have to.

    Phoenix’s New Apartment

The apartment was small and filled with sunlight. From the window, the Galata Tower was visible. Phoenix unpacked her kitchen utensils and instinctively set out two plates for dinner.

    Emma:
“Please tell me that was an accident.”

    Phoenix:
“No… habit. I cooked for two people for years.”

    Emma:
“Then cook for me too. Always. I’ll be the second portion.”

Phoenix laughed, realizing that Emma was the only one who truly understood her habits.

    Phoenix:
“I’m going out for a walk.”

    Emma:
    “Alright, but be careful.”

    Phoenix:
    “I will. Bye.”

    Night Walk

The evening shimmered. The lights of restaurants reflected in yellow hues on the cobblestones, while the scents of coffee shops and the sea mingled in the air.

    Phoenix (inner thought):
Why do I feel like something… or someone is waiting for me here?
Something bigger than I can carry?

As she turned into a side street, a blinding light suddenly flashed before her.

    A car.
    Too fast.
    Brakes screeching.
    A shout.

It stopped at the very last moment.

The car door flew open and a tall man rushed toward her. His voice was deep, slightly hoarse, yet calm.

    Albatross:
“Miss, are you alright? You stepped right in front of me!”

    Phoenix (breathless):
    “I… I’m sorry… but I’m fine.”

Albatross stepped closer, carefully, as if he didn’t want to frighten her.

    Albatross:
“No, you’re not fine. Your legs are shaking. Look at yourself.”

    Phoenix:
“I was just startled. It’s nothing.”

    Albatross:
“We’re going to the hospital. No arguments.”

    Phoenix (inner thought):
    Who is this man?
Why do I feel like I shouldn’t resist?

The examination was brief. Panic, shock, a minor bruise—nothing serious.

When they came out, Albatross was already there, holding two cups of tea.

    Albatross:
“The nurse said you like mint.”

    Phoenix:
    “How did you know…?”

    Albatross:
“I heard you say it. I listen carefully.”

Phoenix smiled shyly, feeling the sense of safety his presence gave her.

Albatross opened the car door for her. The vehicle looked ordinary, slightly worn.

    Albatross (inner thought):
She mustn’t know who I am.
No one should look at me as a wallet.

    Albatross:
    “Where should I take you?”

    Phoenix:
    “Karaköy… near the tower.”

    Albatross:
“Then you chose a good place to start a new life.”

    Phoenix:
    “What do you mean?”

    Albatross (smiling):
“I just… feel it. Istanbul is kind to those who start over.”

    Phoenix (inner thought):
His gaze is mysterious, deep… hiding a past of its own.

    In Front of the Building

When they arrived, Albatross turned off the engine, got out, and opened Phoenix’s door.

    Albatross:
    “See? You’re still dizzy.”

    Phoenix:
    “I’m just tired… really, I’m fine.”

    Albatross:
“I’ll come back tomorrow to make sure you’re alright.”

    Phoenix:
“You don’t have to… that’s very kind of you.”

    Albatross:
“I do have to.” (gently, firmly)
“I won’t leave you alone like this.”

Phoenix stopped. Albatross’s eyes were deep and enigmatic, as if he had been watching over her for a long time.

    Phoenix (inner thought):
Why do I feel like I’ve seen this look before… somewhere?

Albatross got back into the car. The engine hummed softly as he drove away.

Phoenix stood in front of her apartment, her heart filled with a strange, warm restlessness.

    Phoenix (inner thought):
    Something has begun.
Something mysterious… something that changed the air around me.

  • Phoenix – A New Chapter of My Life

    Hi everyone, I’m Phoenix.
And this is the story of my rebirth—not from fire, but from a cup of coffee and a (slightly disastrous) first meeting. ☕🔥

For a long time, I thought my life was a closed book.
Filled with chapters better left unread.
    But then… he appeared.

I won’t say it was love at first sight.
It was more like coffee on my coat, nervous laughter, and an awkward “uh… sorry.”

Yet somehow, in that moment, something shifted inside me.
As if the old version of me—who had already given up on romance—suddenly came back to life. Like a phoenix saying, “Okay, once was enough… but now I’m really giving it another try.”

Since then, a lot has happened. But every day reminds me that the most beautiful stories don’t begin when we’re perfect—they begin when we’re brave enough to believe in them again. 💞

    So, welcome to my blog!
Don’t expect perfection here. Just plenty of laughter, a few tears now and then, and of course… a touch of romance.
