Phoenix

Part 70: The Kiss That Could No Longer Be Delayed

The door of the makeup room closed softly, and the hallway fell silent.
Everyone had gone on their lunch break; the office stood empty and calm, waiting for the next task.

Albatross stood at his desk, his phone within reach.
He typed a quick message to Phoenix:

“Meet me in the back of the makeup room in 2 minutes.”

Phoenix’s eyes lit up as she read it.
She could already feel that something special was about to happen.

The back area was dimly lit, lined with shelves and rarely used props.
Phoenix was looking for Albatross when suddenly someone grabbed her hand, pulled her close… and kissed her.

ALBATROSS (hoarsely, stepping close):
“Finally. I’ve been waiting for you.”

Phoenix only smiled; her eyes spoke for her.
Her gaze allowed it, invited Albatross closer.

PHOENIX (whispering, with a soft laugh):
“I’ve missed you so much… I can’t last long without you.”

Albatross leaned in and kissed her gently, yet hungrily.
The kiss deepened, and both of them lost track of time.

This was no longer a game—
this was something new, something they had both been waiting for for a long time.

After a few moments, Phoenix slowly pulled back, a smile and quiet satisfaction shining in her eyes.

PHOENIX (breathless):
“We have to go back now, before someone sees us.”

Albatross rested his forehead against hers and whispered softly.

ALBATROSS:
“Alright, Phoenix.”

Phoenix looked at him once more, playfulness and desire in her eyes,
then gently caressed his cheek.

In the silence of the back room, between shelves and lamps,
everything changed between them.

And no one knew what had happened—
only the two of them.
